Okay, so my hair is WAY thinner than yours…but our curl type is the same, so I’m so glad I came across this short! Now I just have to let my hair grow up (from a buzz) so I can actually get my curls all the way back 😢

Im definitely doing something wrong. When my hair is wet its more curly than yours without product. but then when its dried i barely look like a 2a with massive frizz.....

What shampoo are you using? My hair is so dry and need a hydrating shampoo. At the moment using a clarifying to get rid of the build up!

A couple of additional options for strong gel (I've coarse, wavy hair): Curlsmith's Shine Gel is a very strong hold styler that does not have fragrance and Giovanni L.A. Hold Gel is less expensive and just as strong. Ouidad's climate control is more expensive but easier to apply because it has a runnier texture yet plenty of hold (their website often has 40% off sales). And lastly, hair oil does not always take care of those little frizzy hairs - Ouidad's water-based pomade on dry hair gets those to lie down and does not leave hair greasy. If you want an absolute frizz-free mane, btw, the only method that's worked for me is is applying gel section by section and brushing it through.

Try not to move the diffuser to much it creates frizz❤

Wow, your hair is lovely but I don't see it as "short." My wavy hair is literally half this length so I guess this is why it has been so challenging to style it! Even having it shoulder length makes a big difference (my length right before I cut it). All I can say is that if you go to bob-length or shorter, don't be surprised to see your 2c look like 2b and your 2b lika a 2a. There's just not enough length for the loose curls to make a couple of turns. It can still look cute but -at least in my case- this routine will not be applicable.

Can you use this method every time you shower? Or is that overuse ?? like would it affect the hair in any shape or form if we use it every time we shower

Hello! I have the same hair type as you. Have you tried applying a curl cream and then a gel then styling and then scrunching it afterwards? Because I do it that way and it works for me. Or am I supposed to apply gel after styling then scrunch it in?
